Sitting on the floor creating is where you would have found Alison – Captivating Cake Topper’s artist – when she was a little girl.  She has progressed to a chair (most of the time) where she continues to discover her creativity, which is her constant and her passion.

Alison began her career as a Visual Arts teacher.  Building on this experience she has enjoyed success as a photographer, graphic designer and illustrator.   The talent and flair Alison brings to her latest endeavour – hand painting cakes – has seen a high demand for her services in the cake art and events industry. 

Alison has further extended her services to fill a void she discovered in the market place.  “People were searching for ways to personalise special occasions with keepsake mementos”. 

Alison’s creativity has filled that void. “I get so much joy from creating beautiful, and sometimes quirky, figurines for people; making something they can keep that will continue to remind them of a special time in their life”.

Alison’s mum can attest to this.  She still holds precious and gets great delight from figurines Alison made for her as a teenager 20 years ago (don’t add up the age – exclaims Ali).
